Today we went for a walk in the woods near here and I took some pics of some wildlife. We were feeding the birds from our hands! I thought some people might be interested in seeing them.Red Breasted NuthatchRed Breasted Nuthatch fighting with a ChickadeeBlue JayBlue JayRed Squirrel - so cute!

Nice shots! Never fails to amaze me what that Canon S series is capable of. Of course, I hate to hear people say that and there I go saying it. A camera is only as good as the operator can make it be. My parents use my old S1 IS now. I kind of miss it, really.

Its got a 12x optical zoom on it, up to 48x digitial. It was last year's Christmas present from the hubby. Quote, originally posted by millster »Nice shots! Well I've had cameras where no matter what I did, the picture was crappy, so if the Canon wants to help me make the shot even better, I'll take it. What camera are you using now if the parents have the S1 IS? Canon has the S3 IS out now. Seems like most of the features are the same as mine still.

Oh yeah, I've had my share of bummer cameras too.I replaced my S1 with an Olympus Evolt E-500 dSLR. I did still stay in the Canon family too though. I kept my Powershot SD450 because there are times when you just don't want (or need) to lug an SLR around.

I thought it would be nice to see some non car pics. Well that, and I have no car pics to post of my car. I think its been about 3 years since I took a pic of my car - it hasn't changed at all since I bought it.
