That is a funny plate. I have to wonder if you'd still say that if you lived here (or in Minnesota or some such place) where we do indeed c snow on a regular basis during the winter (and early spring) .

It is a custom hard cover. There are a couple threads on how to make it. Zubenelgenubi has a good thread on it. I'm actually not using it anymore and have'nt even had it in my car for over a month now, so it is just sitting around.

is it the grills that are painted gloss black? cause i dont see any difference other then that between mine and yours lol
Re: (WaveAction)

I did paint the top grills black, which that took 5 days. But that is not it. I gave the lower grills a little more depth, making them look like they go deeper in.
Posted: Mon Oct 01, 2007 7:52 am
by WaveAction
ahh gotcha..woulda never really noticed it..lol..how'd you manage to do that?
Re: (WaveAction)
Posted: Mon Oct 01, 2007 7:53 am
by 02csnow
A lttile bit of vinyl, with alot of time and patience.
Posted: Mon Oct 01, 2007 7:56 am
by WaveAction
ahh gotcha..so the grills are in the same spot..just black vinyl to give it that look..well thats pretty cool..i may just take out the grills and leave them out..they dont do much or put a nice mesh behind similar to the top grills

Looking good! I didn't notice the vinyl in the lower grills until you pointed it out and I was standing right in front of it yesterday. Good job!
