Ok, some in my family have accused me of being cheap, I look at it as being Frugal. Why pay more than you have to and here is a good example. All I wanted was a good set of snow tires since I don't have AWD. It took some time and yes I did get lucky on the rims. 15" steel rims off of a 93 Plymouth Duster: Free (In my garage taking up space)15" Blizzaks bought used thru Craigslist: $175.00Mounting and balancing: $40.00Cheap plastic 15" hubcaps: $16.95But for a $231.95 investment I don't think these look to bad and will really help this winter.

Great plan, plus the 15" tires absorb a little more of the rough road, giving a smoother ride.

Would you have to get the car re-aligned every time that you change sets of tires? And do you put them in the same positions every time or rotate them from season to season? What tires you running?

If they are 195/65/15 tires, the diameter would be almost identical to the stock 16's. Even if they aren't, alignment would not be a problem. The only issue would be the speedometer being off.

I like the look of winter tires without the hubcaps. I think I'm weird that way though.
