welcome to the best forum on the internet! feel free to make a separate introductory post and show us some pictures of your ride.Claychamp96 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 03, 2020 6:38 am New to the group. I've got about 142,000 on my 09 base model. Only have had it since November.
Any suggestions on seat covers for the rear bench that will actually fit.
What kind of rims would you suggest other than the factory ones for the 17".tpollauf wrote: ↑Fri Jan 03, 2020 5:57 pm Welcome to GenVibe. Those wheels don't look that bad BUT the extra unused mounting holes gotta goMaybe if you're in a northern climate you could keep these as a designated winter set, then get your new 17" tires for summer. Which leads me up to .... Hmmmm ... where exactly are you located (update your profile for us)? You got the best color too! I like the silver accent on the rocker panels
Get involved here and visit often !
I'm no expert on wheels/rims so I'll let others chime in on suggestions. Seeing that you're in Georgia rules out any nasty winter weather (lucky you).Claychamp96 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 03, 2020 6:21 pm

Been there, done that.tpollauf wrote: ↑Wed Feb 12, 2020 5:51 pm
Oh to stay on topic here, my 2004 Vibe GT, now the daily work driver, is seeing 1000 miles per week. Started this new construction job mid November and should last another couple months at the most. Just turned over 144k miles today. I'm changing the oil every six weeks![]()
Welcome to the party. Feel free to start a garage thread of your ride, and document the repair. A tree, a deer, a mailbox, and another car have all hit my wifes car. The core support is a little mingled from the first three, but i have not replaced it yet.michigander2005 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 14, 2020 11:13 am Wife has 2006 with 158000 Miles
Currently in the garage here I'm replacing core support after 4 deer hits in front.
WOW. That is impressive. I have to admit that at 140,000, my '09 is functioning the best it ever has now that it is a flatlander and no longer trying to get up/down hills ablaze with fire. If I ever got to your mileage, I can only imagine that there won't be any more ICE vehicles in production. Unfortunately the GM radio is beginning to fail in the million degree summer sun. If the XM lawsuit ruling (to be announced in February) are in my favor and finally allow me a free transfer, it probably will speed the end of my ownership of the Vibe. But as my Vibe is over 10 years old, every year added is pure gravy; a reality I relish every day.gilagator wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 11:58 pm Hello to all! I'm a newbie here, I currently own two Vibes. They are twins except for the color. One is red and the other blue. The blue one is my everyday driver, it currently has 256967 miles and it still purrs like a kitten. Looking forward to hitting the magical 300000 mile mark. I should mention that they are both 2009 base models with the 1.8l engine. The red one is cherry, it has 176000 miles but you wouldn't know by looking at it. It just basically sits in the garage as a backup. I couldn't pass up the deal I got on it. I've owned quite a few cars and they are the best I have ever owned. What impresses me most is that they don't leak anything. Garage floor is completely dry even at 256967 miles.
