started playing hockey again

So its mid October and so begins another hockey season for me. I got new skates this year and have two points to mention.1) New stakes hurt feet... still. I though with all the new technology it would be better, but I was wrong. Man my feet kill.2) I'm old now. I have been out 3 times and still huffing and puffing. Used to be after the second ice I was in mid season form (lol) but now my legs feel like jello and my back is hurt.Still having fun though. 3 games 4 goals and 2 assists. So far so good.But god does my body hate me right now. Does anyone else punish themselves for fun. (no kinky stuff please)
