i would like to know what procedures or process you went through, and what paint brands you used, from those who painted the engine cover and other parts.

Any way, my vote is Krylon for plastics FTW no prep needed, other then to clean it, no clear coat necessary. I also used Krylon for my grille, no primer, no clear coat and it hasn't chipped or anything.I painted the engine cover and fuse box... but I'm thinking about that sad little faded pink thing cover the battery.

first time i painted my interior pieces, i just put primer and spray paint. then i got my leather interior and had it all repainted at a body shop. the clear coat made it harder and less likely to scratch, otherwise it's super easy to scratch the paint or peel.

the painting has begun i started with the chrome trim around the A/C controls and it looks nice all i need to do on them is add a clear then move on to the rest of the parts to be painted.
