Names, Dirty. Ive had my 2003 Pontiac vibe for about 4 months....I previously owned a 1992 lincoln towncar, and if not for the damn senior citizens in boca raton, id still be driving that.Anyway...Ive had mixed feelings about this car, but since it is mine, its going to be my new toy. I have lots of plans for it, unfortunatly, im a broke (removed) college kid. Ive been reading this site for awhile, and have read some great ideas. I love the different forums on here, especially the audio/electrical forum. From what ive read on here, i know that ill definitely enjoy my stay, and hope i can contribute some help in the future.my car is basically stock, i got a great deal on ita few small cosmetic damages...seems the paint chips easier then normal...and the right rear hubcap is chipped. but w.e.let me get some pictures in this post before you all have at me!
nice vibe dirty, welcome to the family. what future plans do you have for your new toy??

Thanks for the welcome guys, i look foward to talking it up with alot of you. Ive been reading the board and have seen many of your cars, and i love what you guys have done!Right now im pretty broke, so not much is on my list of upgrades. First thing I plan on doing is upgrading the factory radio, speakers. Add subs, hopefully ill have time to build a custom fit for the trunk. Id love to lower the car. And later down the road upgrade the exhaust. Its going to be along time probably...but im commited now.
very clean and cool looking vibe you got there man before in the future dont upgrade your exhaust first do an intake prefferably for your year an Injen CAI, well good luck with the upgrades it takes awhile im leaving to school in 2 weeks and i cant spend money so in a way im broke also
Do you see a noticable change in horse power with the CAI? I forgot to mention earlier that i plan on installing one...just the money issue. $225 is a bit to steep right now.

However, a custom midpipe and muffler of choice might best the CAI, but will still cost more.Oh, and welcome aboard
I find the exhaust mods and intake mods compliment eachother very well.I have the Magnaflow exhaust on mine with Injen intake and Unichip on my base 5spd Vibe. Its peppy but still no sporty speed demon lolWelcome to the board.

check the for sale threads. plenty of people like to sell their used intakes. a lot cheaper and it's just a tube, so who cares if it's had someone else's air through it? welcome as everyone else has already said!
