I definetely do not want one of those full front covering bra's, I've hear too many stories of scratches and all around being a pain in the (removed). This looks like a neat alternative, although if I'm safer without I'll go bra-less.

I don't like the look of car bra's. They always strike me as something that doesn't belong.

Actually, hood protectors keep the spot under them looking brand new. If you take it off everytime you wash the car and wax the car, it will shine better under the protector than on the rest of the hood.

I don't think I'm looking for a really shinny front end either, I think I'll just things as they are.

They are $60 canadian from Walmart for a "carflector".Here is a pic on my car, from a distance...Key West Fl. I don't have a close up right now. Here is a link illustrating the carflector on other cars:

I wish I were where your car is in that picture - we had 6 inches of snow here today! I really like the frosty color - I almost got it, but my wife wanted some COLOR.

Ken, love the contrasting photos... nice sunny palm trees in the post, and then snow covered Frosty in the signature. Sorry, I know that was off topic. Back to our regularly scheduled thread.

quote:Any know anything about these? Do they work well?I just received one of them in the mail from one of those auctions on ebay. It looks nice.....soft and pliable.Unfortunately, I'll have to wait till the weather gets a little warmer to make the installation easier.
