Advanced Auto Parts has 25% off on all windshield wipers - I think sale runs all the month of October. They even install them free. Not a major task but it seems to take me weeks to get around to such stuff. I now have the Bosch Icons on both my Vibe & T&C. Nothing at all to fit the Vibe rear wiper though.

They have been on my wifes car since the beginning of the summer and mine car since day one.

Well - I'm probably too unsophisticated to know any better but in my almost 40 years of driving I have never replaced wiper blades every 6 months. My OE blades seemed o.k. until about 36 months. I fell for the Bosch Icon story about their design that holds the blade to the windshield better. They do look nice. The 28" ones for the T&C were $37.50 for the two on sale. I don't remember what the pair for the Vibe cost but on sale they were less than $29 for both I am sure. I don't doubt that the Ultrasilblades are fine. Everything in life is a trade off between cost and benefit. [No color I would prefer over black anyway.] But to each his own. Just wanted to let those who might be interested of this pretty good sale - and free installation for those of us who like that!

I still have stock wipers on my Vibe and I've had it since mid 2002. They are just now starting the tear on the tips, they still work great, they just look old. That is one thing I forget about on the car lol.

I change my main blades every 12-18 months. usually when they start chattering or i notice a minute tear in them.
