I have a 2006 AWD Vibe and after reading the posts for winter tires I have decided to get a set of 15" rims from a 2004 Corolla and have a set of 195/65R15 Michelin X-Ice tires mounted on them. I have not yet mounted them on the car. I was wondering if anyone thought I would have a problem with this set up. Also what air pressure are you using in the 15" tires? Should I use what is on the door sticker for stock 16's?Thank You for a great forum!!PS. I hope I did not mess this since it is my first post

Welcome to the forum!!!your tires should be no problem. if they fit and are close to the same size as stock you should be laughing.pull an e-brake or two for me and have fun CAN-AWD-VIBE

Welcome to Genvibe! That's the perfect set-up. Run 32psi. Rims should be $40.00 each and the tires about $81.00.

Thanks CAN-AWD-VIBE and Sunny for confirming that this was the correct setup. Now I just have to wait for winter!

hey, I have an 06 AWD Vibe and right now it has 205/55R16 all seasons on it, from the dealership.I am going to put steel rims and winter tires on it and I was thinking 15" rims with 195/65R15 as they are cheaper. Can I do this safely? Also, what are the numbers after these ie 91Q 95T 91H 91T 89S etc??Thanks very much. I am going to order these in today, as it is already snowing up here in Ft Mac.

I believe stock is 89 so you can go higher just not lower.AS far as the size change goes I belive that can and has been done safely!! Others will chime in and correct me if i am wrong. Drive safe! Happy Drifting!
