Hey,Just wondering if there are any other drummers out there packing drumsets into the vibe - and if so, any packing tips for efficiency?

First of all, EddieC, welcome to GenVibe.com.I haven't had to pack my drumset in the Vibe yet, but when I bought the Vibe I definitely was thinking of it from a musical cargo point of view. On weekends I play bass, and only have to carry the hardshell bass case and assorted baggage. I fold down the wider of the rear seats for that. For drums, depending on size, I'd probably try to:1) fold down the narrower of the two seats;2) put the floor tom behind the seat that's up;3) put the bass drum next to that, face down; its width would probably not allow the other seat to be up;4) baby the snare drum by putting it in the passenger seat or the narrow back seat; 5) load the toms, stands, kick pedal and accessories on the folded-down seat back.I don't know if you have a bigger kit, but most kits would fit this way even if you include other accessories (percussion tree, etc.).

I ended up buying soft cases for my drums so the vibe interior would not get banged up. Now I just leave the rear seat up since stuff was sliding around on the rear plastic. I do have the rear cargo mat. Works well for me. By the way anyone have any vintage drum gear for sale? I am always interested and buying.
