EQ Settings (keep reseting)

Ever since I put my stock stereo back in I have not been able to get it to save the EQ settings. For example.... I have it on FM set it to +2, +3, +5 then hold in the station # to program that station. I then change the EQ on AM to (-5, +3, -5). When I go back to FM it stays at -5, +3, -5 instead of going to what I preset that FM station to be at. Any help you could offer would be great. Thanks!

I believe the station preset saves which EQ preset is presently selected. But if you change the preset, it changes on all station presets with that EQ preset. (If you don't have a preset selected, it will set the station preset to use the general EQ, which if you change, will still be changed when you select that preset)Here's what you need to do:Select the FM station you wantPush "EQ" until the display shows "EQ 1"Adjust the EQ to what you want.Press and hold "EQ" until it beeps.Save the FM station preset (while it shows "EQ 1")Select the AM station you wantPush "EQ" until the display shows "EQ 2"Adjust the EQ to what you want.Press and hold "EQ" until it beeps.Save the AM station preset (while it shows "EQ 2")Now you should be good to go.

FWIW, I think the problem is that you're trying to save multiple 'Custom' EQ settings.Unfortunately, only one Custom EQ setting 'sticks', the most recent one. If you use one of the 5 other EQ settings (Jazz, Classical, Talk, and so on), indeed it WILL 'stick' with the station when you (re)set it.If you look at the EQ setting, it will show a '6' for both your attempted AM and FM settings. indicating that it's the custom EQ setting, rather than EQ settings 1 through 5.Probably not the news you wanted, but hope this helps.
