Features that didn't make the cut.

Post by Savoy »

"Going along with the versatility and all-road theme, Vibe comes with an adjustable suspension that has two settings, low and high. As GM puts it, "when the going gets rough," the car can be raised two inches, and has wide 19-inch wheels in front"http://www.cardesignnews.com/news/2000/ ... -Savoy-I'm prepared for the slap on the hand if this has been posted before.

quote:The Vibe's rear doors slide open, out and backwards, parallel to the rear quarters and can be operated independently of the standard front doors. The lower gate swings down behind the rear bumper in a parallel action for easier loading and unloading.I don't know who or when this was written but they were way off.

Followed the link, and read the report. Somebody really essed up their press releases. That describes Pontiac's concept car from the 2001 auto show circuit, called the REV. No where near the Vibe.
