New wheels on my Magnum

Just wanted to share some pics of my new wheels. Somehow I don't think I could have fit these on my Vibe. Wheels are Incubus Paranormal 22x9.5 with Falken TZ04 265/35/22 tires. You might find it hard to believe, but this setup runs smoother than 17s on my old Vibe.

They need to be powdercoated black or gunmetal.. don't like the steel showing through.. but besides that looking good

Looks like it needs a drop. Also, you might want to change your grill, maybe do a silver/black combo to welcome the new wheels in ... it definatly looks HOT!dan

those rims are tight as heck. I also like the steel showing through. That's what make them look unique. Great choice

Thanks for the compliments! I wanted something a little different. I love the deep lip and large wheel, but I think the chrome is getting a little too common. I'd be willing to bet that the majority of the people who see this wheel have never seen anything else like it before. I know that I never have. As far as blacking them out, there are plenty of cars out there with black wheels. They can look really good, but I would never put all black wheels onto any of my cars.Ordered my springs today. Should be installing them in about 2 weeks. After installing my Vibe's springs, I really never wanted to do it again. However, shops around here want $300-500 just in labor to install the springs. Hard to justify that when I can do it myself in an afternoon.I'll post some more pics when it's dropped! Hopefully, I can convince some Vibers to go buy a Magnum... j/k

looks great, could the tires stand to be a little wider? can't really tell.

The backs could go wider, but the front only have about a credit cards thickness of clearance on the inside. Just got my Eibach springs in today. Should have it dropped within the next couple weeks. I'm not looking forward to the install, but definitely eager for the result.Oh....I installed a JBA cat-back exhaust a couple weeks ago. It sounds incredible! Maybe I can try and get a soundclip on here sometime.

I will say I couldn't afford to replace the tires.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVWThat seller also has some nice 2-tone in 17" sizes. Your Enkeis are really nice, though!

well, mine are stock 17's. so 18's isn't a problem but the issue is clearing the brakes. i've seen a few people with 20's but with very very little rubber... our roads are not equipped for that. i like my ADR Phantoms for the same reason: polish with black. something different and unique. i love my rims... wish i coulda gone with 18's but then i'd have to get tires too and just not worth spending the $$$ to me. as it is, these rims are a little heavier than my stockers, so i already lose time at the track due to the weight. oh well. they look good atleast! LOL

So what kind of mileage do you *actually* get with that Hemi and gigantic tires?

The JBA exhaust is gonna cause me problems though. It seems to make me want to accelerate harder to hear it. Brings a smile to my face everytime. First tank after doing the exhaust dropped me down to 18 mpg. Too many wide open starts. I don't expect the wheels to make a big difference. Does it really matter, though? I certainly wouldn't have put the wheels on if I was trying to save money...
