I printed up something at work showing 3000.00 cash back or 0% financing on the Vibe from Jan. 16th. thru Feb. 28th. Some other GM vehicles had 4000.00 cash back! I picked up my car on Wensday(Ya!) and they put down 2000.00 cash back on my finance contract. Hopefully will get straightened out next week. My total price with tax,licence will be 16,100.00 now. I had GM card earnings and employee pricing also. If anyone just purchased their vehicle I hope you are as suprised as I was. I'd be willing to fax the notice if you need it. P.S. I love my Vibe!

Small correction that my be in the mid-west only. GM breaks incentives down into regions.

Yes, I think it varies between $2000.00 and $3000.00, depending on the region. For American consumers only. Canadian consumers, go straight to hell. Don't pass go and don't collect $3000.00 (USD) or even $2000.00 (USD). Oh, and wait 6 months for it too. I'm not bitter. PS: No GM Employee discount either.

Rebate on Vibe is only $2,000. Employee may receive additional $1,000 on vehicles built before September 15, 2002. If the car you bought was built after 9/15, you will only get the $2,000. This has been discussed somewhere (here or Edmunds).It is bad enough that the Canadians have to read about the US incentives. You do not need to be posting incentives only available to GM Employees (which the gang to the north do not get either).

The letter says: Incentive offer updateEligible participants under the GM New Vehicle Purchase program residing in GM North Central Region may choose:Consumer cash or low GMAC apr. Financing or low GMAC smartlease payments when you take delivery from 01/16/03 thru 02/28/03Vibe 3000.00 or0.0 Annual percentage rate.

Read the small print at the bottom which will say something like "rebate on certain vehicles..rebate which must be given to employee under the rules of the plan...must take delivery by 1/31/03".Check somewhere around the driver's door frame to see if the month of production is there. Most likely Oct or later. Sorry.

Yea, I got mine at 0% for 60 months... + gm discount

I just bought my base "Frosty" and got the $2000. rebate plus $1000. "dealer cash" (that expired on 1/31/03). They only had 2 vibes that were built early enough to qualify for the extra 1000. and both were Frosty.
