Welcome to GenVibe!Very nice GT you got there! Got me wonderin' whether that belonged to a genvibe member or not. Did you buy this from an individual or a dealership? Cool slildeshow, too. Don't forget to post 'em in the Garage!

That is my old Vibe. I hope you enjoy it. Just remember that the car is 4 years old. That intake is only a few months old though. Congrats!!! You can search my posts on here to see all the work I did. The car was never in the shop except for oil changes. If you want to remove your roof rack, I have the RK Sport caps to put on. You can come by my place and I'll help you do the install.

thats a very nice Vibe there.check and make sure the nuts on top of the strut bar as well as the single nut on top of the struts are tight. They may not seem loose but I had a clunk like you dscribed. I checked those and it went away. But I never had anything obviously loose.

hey damon just wondering what you had on the other end of the spliced wires from the amp, and also wondering why you got rid of the mirror tweeters??2ohm issue? I am going to go with the double din navi. dvd player...but am worried about it getting jacked since i park on the street, damn meth heads. I have to say thanks again...i have gotten a lot of comments like "wow i never knew one of those vibes could look so good" just wish i could take credit for it

Spliced wires went to the high level inputs on my Infinity Basslink. I had aftermarket tweeters/crossovers in and I removed them before trading the car in. Glad you like the car. I hope it lasts a few more years. There is a trick where you can remove the faceplate of a stock deck and use it as a stealth cover over your double-din when you park the car at night. Anyone looking in can only see that you have a stock deck.

thanks... i have some bose tweeters ordered for the front. And that is really funny to hear that the face cover thing can work, my friend and i were just joking about how to take the face off of an old tape deck player for disguise. I am hoping to close on a double din this week (ebay), i may need to ask you a ? or 2...i have put a couple of decks in before, and the wiring seems to be straight forward...just hoping i dont have to fabricate anything.i threw a pic of the new centercaps
