I was surfn' and...Many sites have said that the next matrix and vibe will take major cues from this concept. I noticed that the side windows look alot like the current matrix and it does have the new toyota front end, but the interior will be totaly different i would think...

Numi better not even think about building something that ugly... they'll have to sell it on the Scion lot.

Overall not that bad. Something about it isn't right though. I think the backend needs to be more rounded off to match the front end. Maybe thats it. If they are going for a minivan then they pretty much nailed it. If they are going for a sporty wagon then they seriously dropped the ball. Looks like they might be trying to compete with the new Mazda 6. Not sure why, because I don't really see those driving around much. I guess it is to compete with the increadibly small nitch of people who want a minivan but don't.

oh HELLL no I hate these concept cars that everyone is coming out with now. I know they are designed purely as concepts and 99% of them are almost completely redesigned before the final model, but out of all the concepts I've seen that one is just bad.I do like the idea of the new yota front on a trix, tho. it might look neat

i loooove the outside. But they need to keep the vibe/trix alone and just have that come out seperate, and change the name. and im not a fan of the lounge. But i do love the back doors! i also love the lights. HIDs up top and LEDs on the botom. sweeet!!

That thing is effin DISGUSTING! But look at that XB thing, people still buy those... *barf* Gee, at least you can have a SMUT FEST in this one! I just can't warm up to this upright, square, boxy crap - it looks horrible no matter what you do to it. The XB looked stupid to me when it came out, it continues to do so, and pretty much anything with that form factor will just be goofy looking to me, iMHO. I've said it before, you can't polish a turd. I have a feeling if Toyota takes design cues from that thing and applies to the Matrix, they'll see their sales hit rock bottom... Considering the Matrix seems to attract more mature drivers, at least around here, I don't see them really wanting something that bizarre looking, they'd want something a little more tame...

There's a lot of barf in this thread that needs to be cleaned up, someone grab a bucket!I was thinking this goofy looking thing was familiar... It reminds me of this Scion thing I saw at the NY auto show in 2005. Quite similar...TOYOTA, enough with the steenkin' BOXES!!! What's next? Giving us something like THIS, that Honda showed as a concept in the 1990's? Damn, that's one sexy toaster!
