It'll fit. Practically ANY screen you can buy will fit in the Vibe. Single DIN or double DIN.You need the dash kit, antenna adapter, and also a wiring harness (if from circuit City, 80-2003, if from somewhere else, 70-2003). They may try to tell you if you take out your radio you'll need to buy a part to keep a chime.YOU DO NOT NEED THAT PART. They're just stupid. All you need is the wiring harness and you'll be set.

Is this the security harness they tell me I need to install an aftermarket deck in my 2006? They tell me that all the security stuff in the car, including airbags go through the stereo and that I need to use this harness.

Are you only putting in the LCD or are you putting in an addidtional head unit as well? If it's just the LCD, then your current dash kit is fine.If you are putting in the LCD AND an additional head unit (like I did) then you will need the above mentioned dash kit. It's a universal 2-din dash kit (Metra Turbo Kit 99-8205). Look around online, I found this kit for about $12 shipped to my house. The wiring harness you need is Metra 70-2003 harness. I got a universal antenna adapter at Wally-World, but it's pretty bulky... I would see if you could find a smaller one.Let me know if you have any other questions, I'll do what I can to help.

if i could do that, that would be cool... but i think i would just do the lcd stereo... cuz it plays cds, dvds, adn my old stereo is dying. hence the fact im looking into a new one.would you know if any or all lcd stereos are removable... for security or loss purposes?

There are no removable LCD stereos. Certainly none like the old radios where you could easily pull on the handle and remove the radio. You may be able to pop off the 'controls', much like a faceplate. But that's it.shane_c: That is exactly what i'm talking about. There is no Pontiac Vibe that needs this harness. Other GM vehicles operate that way, but there is no Vibe that operates in this fashion

Removable faceplate, but I've never seen that on a LCD. I've never seen a removable LCD either... unless you want to uninstall it every time you leave your car somewhere.
