It is time yet again for fantasy football. I have created a free league in Yahoo for anybody who wishes to join.http://football.fantasysports....crumb=League ID number: 370117Password: football The season starts on September 7th I believe. There will be an autodraft whenever the league is full and everybody is ready.Let me know by either posting on here or in the league if there are any changes or ideas you have to make the league better.Good luck, hope to see you there.

I tried this last month and got no response as well: http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=23870It seems we don't have too many football fans here. Anyway, I'm joining your Yahoo league. If you're interested, check out the league I created on NFL.com League Name: Good Vibes Password: Genvibe.

I'm back and I plan NOT to flop after my first-round bye You know, I really hate leading a league all year in wins/points, only to lose after the first-round bye...that happened to me in this and my money league last year time for a new strat.

At least you made it to the playoffs. Last year was my most dissapointing season ever. Hopefully I will turn it around this year.

I am having trouble deciding on weither or not to have two starting QB's or just one. So I need a vote from you guys one way or the other, here is the argument I have been having with myself. Two QB's are better because...#1 A very good QB isn't sitting on your bench because you don't have room to play him.#2 More skill is required and more attention has to be payed to sports news when a QB injury occurs to find a better backup. #3 Last year we had two starting QB's, most of the other leagues have only one, and that makes us special. One QB is better because...#1 Everybody will have a good starter and a good backup which makes the league easier for the new people and more competitive in the long run.#2 If an injury occurs less effort needs to be taken to find a replacement, for those people who don't have the time to sit in front of ESPN.#3 People with the problem of crappy QB's or injuries won't be able to score as many points as the more luckier of us resulting in more blowouts. There is the argument. Your input will be greatly appreciated. Also, do we want individual Defensive players to go along with our Defenseive teams?

My Vote:One QBDefensive Team

I vote for 2 QB's - it was fun and unique. There's plenty of QB's to go around, you just have to stay on top of things. Many participants last season did NOTHING with their rosters...that's NO fun at all.If anything, I'd like to impose some form of participation requirement or something. I mean, if you join a league, isn't your intent to actively play?Just my opinion EDIT: PS Only 1 D/ST is needed...I would actually consider 1 D/St and 1 Defensive PLAYER..

I was thinking along the lines of 3 utility Defensemen as well as 1 Defensive team. I have played with individual defensive players in other leagues and it is fun. But Yahoo doesn't rank their defensive players correctly so you have to prerank those players yourself or you get stuck with guys that are terrible and will have to change them out after the draft.

Actually it isn't, the times I have done it we have had 9 indv. Defensemen and no teams. It just adds another dimention to the game. Anybody can name a good RB or a QB, but not too many people can name a good DL or DB. I don't think I will, looks like we may have a few first timers here and that would make it even more confusing.

Their are still 4 spots open in the Football league. I would like to have at least 8 in the league, but 10 would be better. Come on and sign up. If you know anybody who would like to play have them sign up too. I would like to draft in 2 weeks.

I started up a Yahoo Pick'em League for the '06 season, here's the info. to join:http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/pickemLeague ID: 13603Password: football (all lower-case)Have anyone join that you want, I have it set to the max. of 50 people... the more, the better! If you don't know what a Pick'em League is:You pick the winner of each game, each week and place "confidence points" on each game. If you are more confident in your pick being correct, then you put more points on it. If you think it is going to be a close game and you are not sure who is going to win, then you don't want to put a lot of points on it. That's it in a nutshell, IM me if you have any questions.JOIN TODAY! it's a lot of fun and fairly easy too.

Three more spots remaining still. I will let it go for another week, then I will open it up to the public this weekend to fill the remaining spots. More updates to come.

We have one more spot remaining. The league is open to the public now so hopefully a few more days. After the league is full I will draft a day or two later. Hopefully by this weekend at the latest. That will give us five days or so before the begining of the season for add/drops and trades.

Shiny!!!I will plan on setting the draft status to OK on Thursday afternoon before I go to work. That should give us our teams on Friday or possibly Saturday. The season begins on next Thursday night (7th). So get your player ranks done ASAP.

Well, just for future reference make sure you post that on the board in Yahoo. There are a couple of guys on there who aren't a part of Genvibe, and we may not necessarly know your team name especially if your email is hidden on yahoo.

Nothing like winning by the skin of my teeth.Rex Grossman really came through for me last night. 4 INT, 2 Fum, 0 TD's. Good thing he was on my opponents team. Hee Hee I love beating 5-0 teams. Especially when it is a friend of mine.

It is Championship Week for FF. It is Me and my friend John for 3rd place, and My Brother-in-law and Drinking Pants for the championship. Should make for and interesting finale.
