As much as I like the red chrome look, I think a flat red like the arrows would have looked better IMO.

that does look awsome! and what color are you going to put on the arrow??? cause you can paint the crome part of the arrow that same color red as the trim around the grill.man i wish we (03-04 models) had that chrome thing now cause that is Sick!! now all you need are some GTi badges and you have a one off Vibe GTi very special editions aka 1 of a kind.

It looks sweet! Both paints were Krylon the red was X metals the black was fusion for plastic the color is 'gloss black', the stuff dries in 15 mins, the grilles were back on in an hour. It only needed two coats for the black, the red needed three.Quote, originally posted by NascarXprt »that does look awsome! and what color are you going to put on the arrow??? cause you can paint the crome part of the arrow that same color red as the trim around the grill. I got Grafxwerks decals, the inside is going to be reflective red (I wish after seeing the way the grille turned out that the arrow would be the dark red oh well) with a reflective black broader. I wanted to keep the arrow red.

If you notice the red part of the grille... you'll see the paint chiping off I'll try to patch it up, but most likely I'll repaint them with something different.

cool, did i miss a thread somewhere whats the point of doing that?
Re: (VforVIBE)

Nice work, V! A lot easier to do than the cable throttle engines where those hoses are on the back side of the TB.Cold: It prevents the hot coolant from circulating through the TB. This will help to keep intkae temps down so your engine creates more power. Not much just a few HP. But you will notice the slight difference. The coolant running through the TB is mainly for cold climates, supposedly to prevent any frost from building up in the TB but I, and may others, have done it with nice results and not problems with frost in the winter, whatsoever!

warm coolent is sent throught the throttle body so it won't ice up during the winter, but because I live in FL, it doesn't get that cold. the mod keeps the air from the CAI from warming up which = MORE POWER!!!!! Edit: what Blue said Thanks Blue

U may want to get some type of plug to cover up the inlet and outlet ports on the TB so dirt and engine crud don't get in there. Otherwise, your well on your way to getting the car SC.. lol A little HP here and there will leave you only wanting more

Looks sweet V .I really like your pedals. The red on the grilles look great, really sets you apart from the rest.Keep up the good work.P.S-I would stick a hose on the empty ports,so no dirt get in the throttlebody though.
