Markt2717 is your man. Here are some pics of my K&N in my 06. You'll need a small intake ($10) for the tube coming out of the engine where mine was plugged.

THis is what it should look like anything else is kinda wierd. And THIS is what it should look like all together. That crank case is very sensitive. you HAVE to have a filter on there you CANNOT afford to not have one on there.

If it were me I'd get on the horn with K&N.

If it were me I'd get on the horn with K&N.The problem is he got a intake made for a 03/04 that is NON drive by wire and he has a 2005 which is DBW and their throttle bodies are different thus meaning the intake is a little different. To make it work it needs to have some custom work done.

well talk to Toasted7... he made a 03-04 work on an 05-06. you pretty much have to make your own inlet to the intake and connect that hose from the engine there.

And good luck, your going to need it.

Is it worth doing the intake on a auto Vide. Also how loud will it make the stock exhaust ? Thanks Dominic

Intake on vibe is awesome. I have a auto vibe with a TRD cold air intake (2004 auto vibe) and its freaking sweet. It sounds louder up front, like a growl and when i drive nice my gas mileage goes up it will not make your exhaust any louder just your air sucking up front.

Thanks, I was thinking of going with the k&n worm air intake. The car is still under warranty so I don't want to go to crazy. I just got into the vibe. I use to drive a 92 Nissan Se-r.

Has anyone tested the impact on MPG? I would think that it should increase by a notch or two, provided that once it's installed the driver doesn't hammer down everywhere he goes.

K&N has it dyno with 167 at the wheels. that is an extra 12 hp. I love mine. it is almost as loud as the exhaust. I have a pic of the vacuum lines if you need it.
