New Progressive comercial

So I'm watching tv and a Progressive Auto Insurance comercial comes on, talking about their quote accuracy. They say they spend thousands of hours per week make sure their quotes are accurate.First of all...how could a quote not be accurate? Wouldn't they give you the exact amount when you buy insurance? It's not like they say, oh for you to insure your car it'll be anywhere from $1200 a year to $2000 a year...so you sign up and tehy say "ok well now that you've signed up, your yearly price is $2000....you got hte short end of the straw, sorry"...MAKES NO SENSE!SECONDLY and most importantly there are only 168 hours in a week and I doubt people are checking accuracy 24/7. Asuming buisness hours are frmo 8am to 6pm, or even 7pm the most amount of hours they could possibly be working on accuracy would be about 77 hours and that's including Saturday and Sunday. Heck, lets even through in 4 extra hours a day for the time difference across the country bringing it up to 105 hours a week!Sorry, I just don't like Progressive because they quoted me $7200 a year for insurance on the Vibe. SO I thought it was a funny comercial.

lol, I've never really liked their commercials either. But I do like the one that has the guy from sportscenter is walking around in that big stadium.I just think they way over-exaturate their usefulness along with their numbers. But they do have a rather unique marketing method that's somewhat respectable. Not many companies take the aproach of, "you compare the different companies and decide for yourself" technique.I've always been a fan of the Allstate commercials.

yeah their commercials are stupid. i like the AIG auto insurance commercials. when i was livin in phoenix, some casino there had a commercial that said "no one else has more slots...". it was stupid to me after i discovered that there was a 500 machine limit, and all the casinos were at the limit, so of course nobody could have more slots

(removed)!!! That's funny.Well I gues that's a good marketing strategy, although when they quote you $7200 and two others follow with $6500 and $4000 it isn't useful at all. State Farm I now pay about $1200 a year(listed as secondary car) But even before that it was only $2200 a year, compared to $7200????
