Just put in a K&N filter

I didn't notice a little bit more in horsepower but haven't really tried. Hubby was in the car and didn't want to hear him complain about how I'm gonna get a ticket. Don't want to do an CAI because here in the winter the heaters don't work well with CAI on.

Sorry, the CAI has absolutely nothing to do with the heater.The AIR enters the CAI, goes into the engien and exits out the exhaust. It does not enter the HVAC system at all. The Air that enters the HVAC system come from a completely separate source.With the K&N oem replacement filter you will only get an basrely noticable gain of 1-2 hp and you should see a slight MPG increase as well.

Put in the CAI... it's well worth it and the winter temps. won't mess with it at all.

Well I figured out that back when I put one in my Dakota it called for a colder thermostate. That's why the heater sucked. I'm saving my money for the CAI

The best part of the k&n...you never have to replace it.
