The GM badges, called "chicklets" by the dealers, were a new add for '06 products, except for the Vibe. Well, I don't know for sure if they're on the Chevy Aveo or not. (Another "halfbreed", if you will). This was Rick Wagoner's way of communicating the GM name amongst us dumb consumers who thought that the Equinox/Torrent and Cobalt/G5 were COMPLETELY different vehicles.Actually, I think they look kind of cool. If I were to mount them on my Vibe, I'd remove the Vibe logos fron the doors and put them there.Just my $0.02.On another note, I work for a big supplier of auto interiors. On our internal website today there was a statement from GM that rebates/incentives for remaining '06 models will be changing shortly.Rumor has it that 0% for 36 months (like ANYBODY finances a new car for 36 months!) will be rolled out. We'll see......

(As an aside) Speaking of the Chevy Aveo...Or is that the 2005/2006 Pontiac Wave? Does it really matter? Is there a difference... the little symbol on the front and back.

Pontiac Wave = Chevy Aveo, different grille, and different Wheel/Covers. Made by Daewoo. GM no longer has ANY Suzuki Products in their lineup.

If it was on mine - it was promptly removed with the other badges... Although I did see a rather beat up Grand Am with one of these badges today and was wondering where they came from.Is GM selling these to make it clear who made your car? If so, then they really need to ramp up their advertising...
