I agree, the # of votes are pretty small considering how many people browse/post on this site.I check the polls pretty often, and they don't seem to change hardly at all.

as it stands, only 26 votes out of how many ACTIVE members?? right now, 12 active users on here and probably almost all have already voted. what's the deal people??

well what if the mods made the forum title a different color or bigger. And on the home page made a banner for people to vote.I dont see why we have lots of users and not many vote. even for S's & G's

People could add it to their sigs like Hope did for Phil and so everytime you post it will be there for all to see. I vote yes for both VOTM & MOTM Banners have them link to the appropriate threads. to get more visibility. Excellent Idea!!!! And now, back to our regularly scheduled voting...

We have been discussing for several months now the relative lack of participation between both VOTM and MOTM vs. the number of active members on the site, but even the things that have been done (i.e. a separate forum, reminder posts, IMs, etc.) haven't really increased participation. As I've said before when this issue comes up, I'm guessing a lot of people just aren't really interested, sadly.

i don't understand it. it's really about supporting your fellow members. i am guilty of not participating in the MOTM thing, but that's because i'm busy a lot and forget to nominate the person or persons I think are well deserved of it. all this is, is a confirmation that other people may actually LIKE what you've done to your car. people put a lot of effort, time and love into their vehicle, this is just one way to support and encourage that. as for me, well, you all know.... :D post post! i will advertise and advertise! that's what i do... and next month, even if Phil wins, I'll probably do the same thing.... if enough people do it, then perhaps other members will "click" on the banner and participate!

LOLso, obviously, it would be beneficial in my house to help the hubby out. he's darn proud of the pumpkin and i think it's still pretty damn sexy too. it's certainly well deserving of Vibe of the Month stature just like any of the other vibes in the past and currently up for vote. since i am in marketing, why not throw out a signature to help support my own husband and one of the main reasons we are married. if he wins this month, i'll be posting up something different for the next month....nominees, you can PM me with bribes. j/k
