Feeler thread: convoy from austin to the meet??

how about finding a little location to meet up somewhere in austin for those who are driving from S. texas and h-town to the meet and have a little bite to eat then convoy up to the meet? anyone from the austin area can meet up aswell.

Cole, if'n I get my Stealth tomorrow, AND I can get off work for that weekend I'm gonna do my bestest to get up there ok.....Would love for my 1st "trip" in the new car to be on a Vibe trip.Fiance' would too..Let's hope buddy !!

well from what is looks like there maybe two diff. convoys goin. weve got the Houston group led by Zuben. and a SA group led by me.ill have to wait and see if anymore people are going in a convoy or just goin separate and ill put a list to gether.

OK people folks im am going to start getting a plan together for a convoy up to the Dallas meet. i would like to leave san antonio by around 3 p.m.'ish Friday. but first have people in SA and the surrounding area here meet up for lunch then head out towards austin. then meet somewhere in austin to pick up anyone there who wants to convoy the rest of the way up there. once in Dallas find a place to eat dinner. then head of to the hotel or where ever everyone is staying. or we can go our separate ways for dinner and meet up at the meet Satif this sounds good let me know and we can go from there, like where to meet before we leave SA, the meeting/refueling(if necessary) spot in Austin, then the dinner spot

Hey guys, due to my dang work schedule I'm not gonna be able to make it, BUT please keep me informed if y'all happen to stop in Austin somewhere for some chow or something and I'll try to at least hook up with y'all for a little bit....I live pretty close to I35 in north central Austin and would love to see ur vehicles and at least see who I'm talking to.....Thanx a million, Marty

Antonios Mexican Restaurant is in the northern area of Austin (I believe exit 238 or 239 off I35), and there's a few more places up in Round Rock maybe 10-15 miles farther up....You guys let me know what kinda food y'all might be interested in and stuff and I'll try to find y'all a decent sit down joint right on I35 for easy access and stuff ok......Only thing with Antonios is you would have to exit and loop around, but only about 1/2 mile......Also a Schlotzsky's, Fish Daddy's, etc............

Ya know I'm sick as hell I can't go right guys ??? Get me a new Vibe, find a great site to hang out in ever once in a while, and then find out there's just no way I can take off 'cause they changed my dang schedule....If it weren't for the dang benefits and me having to buy food, electricity, pay mortgage, and "little" things like that ((as well as pay for Recon)), I might tell them to stick it...ha ha...Hope to meet y'all at least for maybe a lunch or something...Just email me at home, IM me, or whatever, and I'll holler back !!!!
