putting a 05 vibe OEM Navigation into my 05 vibe

I picked up a Navigation system from a wrecked 05 Vibe. Can I put it into my 05 Vibe that originally had a am/fm/cd unit? I have all wires (including navigation ant. that came with the system). I was wondering if it will have a security code after being turned on again?

I think people have done this before... It will work, but I hear its not the greatest. Did you also happen to ahve the Nav DVD? I think you need that to load the maps for your area....

You need to have the Navigation DVD in the navigation unit for it to show the navigation, yes.There is no security code.If you did not get the wiring for the under-seat CD changer or the changer itself, you will not be able to listen to CDs while navigating.
