From the dealership where I bought it but there are aftermarket tinting places around here that are now offering it as well. Your best bet would be to check either of those.

had mine 35% in the rears and 50% in the fronts.i then had 35% on my fronts on my LGT and 20% rears, but had that changed to 20% all around because 35% was too light for me.

I personally like 35% all around, rather than having darker rear windows:Before:After (w/ new wheels, too)

Just got mine done 50% front, 20% rear 5 windows.Lumar Film and labor - $250 (including tax)I won't mention the installer - yet. My rear drivers window has a 6" scuff and they cut the rear window film just short of covering a 1/4" sliver of the rear window. Now, we'll see how good they are at fixing it or fighting against it... I did a quick inspection when I got it back - but didn't sign anything accepting the final work. Didn't notice it all until I got home... I don't expect a problem - they do good work.I love the color - and I was afraid if I had gone 35% up front - my dark interior would magnify the tint effect and bring the local PD on me. I passed a clown in a civic with 20% (or may have been darker!) on the doors... he was pealing it off in front of the cop.Glad it wasn't me

Had that on the last three cars, no desire to go darker. I had 20% once and couldn't see to drive the damn car once the sun went down... And the legal issues, it wasn't worth it to me to be a rebel. The 35% seems just as nice on the inside and I can see out of it better at night.

wow.. I thought 5% was dark... 1% must be like black spray paint I'm considering this on the vibe as well... but would probably do 20 all around.

i started off with 35% in the fronts on the LGT and 20% rear. but with the sunroof, it was WAY too light in the front, so had it redone to 20% all around. now, wish i'd gone darker.... still too light, hurts my eyes. I should get the sunroof blacked out and maybe that'd help? 35% is just ok...

i had limo around and 5% on the front... super dark and sometimes was hard to see... but loved the look. on the vibe 15% is nice on the backs and 38% makes me still visible to others and not a problem at night.

hey ano, are you sure that's 25%? seems awful light!as far as getting in trouble for having dark tint, look it up. if the state law says "any" for whatever window in question, that means you don't have to be able to see through the window at all.

I don't understand the dark tint, personally, but I guess to each his own. I'd rather have what's legal but that's just me. Even if 5% was legal I wouldn't get it just because it would be like having permanent sunglasses at night.

You can't use the glass heater on the hatch window with tint can you?

Quote, originally posted by VforVIBE »You can't use the glass heater on the hatch window with tint can you?Sure can! The tint isn't affected by the defroster grid. I've been using it for years on various cars with tint, no bad things happened. There are a couple problems tint causes on a window with defroster or antenna grids in the glass... #1, for those cars with antennas back there, tint made with minute particles of metal will cut down on radio receiption. #2, when/if the tint is removed, the grid can be damaged which will cause the entire row on the defroster to no longer work since continuity across the glass is no more.
