I got mine on July 6, 2002 and I know there are others that are older.

I would like to see who has the oldest also.Definately not mine. Mine was made in November and I picked it up December 14th.

got my vibe AWD on March 20, 2002. One of the first AWD vibes in my area, had to trade another dealer to get it....

I got mine on 6/19/02.

Took mine home 8-3-02. (23,418th Vibe built)

Let's see, I ordered mine on February 25, 2002 and took delivery on May 8, 2002 (day after my birthday, I'll always know it's anniversary).

So far, NeptuneVibeAWD has the oldest with a delivery date of March 20, 2002. Anyone older than that?NeptuneVibeAWD, what are the last 6 digits of your VIN? That is the production sequence number. It must be really low. I believe the numbering started with 400001 at the Fremont plant.

How do you determine the build date? Is it on the RPO sticker? I haven’t checked the glove box...Jason

Look for a sticker on the drivers door jam. The second line should have the date (MM/YY). Mine says 05/02 for May, 2002. I picked up mine on July 6, 2002 which means the car was anywhere from 1 to 2 months old (depending if it was late or early May when it was built) when I got it.

Mine was built July of 2002--Sold to me on Sept 4,2002. Seq# 29,793 James

I just checked my door jamb sticker-says 0202 and from my VIN looks like 2412th built-but I didn't buy until Aug/02. It was on the lot-apparently had been in some car shows in another city-had 750 km on at time of purchase.

WOW! I think we may have a winner. 02/02 and VIN 402412 that's early. Anyone have a build date earlier or a lower VIN number?

Door Jamb sticker says "03/02". VIN last six digits: "406382". I took delivery on 15 March 2002 (the Ides of March!). It had 9 miles on it, 4 of which were put on by me on my test drive. Not the oldest, but surely one of the earlier purchase dates.

Got mine September 19, 2002; fairly late into the year. Was suppose to pick it up in December, but someone cancelled their order and they chose everything that I wanted. Lucky me, stupid them!

Ordered mine in mid February and would have had it sooner but they didn't start making the Base vibes with antilock brakes yet and I wanted the abs. So the sticker says 04/02 and I recieved it on May 15th. One of the first in the area though, that was cool. Getting all the looks and inquiries

Mine was built 05/02...Nova--our cars probably hung out while being built.... I didn't buy mine until October 24th.....

I don't think it sat on the lot.....I didn't buy mine brand new.....It had 7500 miles on it....

my Vin is 419718. So I guess it was the 19,718th....so our cars probably didn't hang out.... But that is cool that they were built in the same month. I guess mine was built around the first of the month..and yours closer to the end of the month since mine is like a thousand cars older than yours.....

1,031 to to be exact. That's so cool!
