well, since CP is such a fan, and this is a Subaru site, afterall... (right? ) ... i figured i'd post pics from our 3rd (i think, maybe 4th) annual Portage Cruise on Sunday. mostly all Subies, but had a few other cars there like an audi TT, typhoon, Explorer and a VW Golf GTI. only the GTI went on the cruise, everyone else was stopping in to say hello before we left. lots of onlookers wondering what was going on, etc, but it was quite the sight to see 20+ vehicles (all but 2) with hoodscoops driving by in formation. LOL. we ended up getting a little split up in the beginning, but the others were able to catch up shortly after. What's a TMIC? You'll need to break it down for us acronymically challenged folk that aren't in the know. And of course... Are you sure that it doesn't bother you that you have a small hood scoop? I've seen firsthand what it can do!!! hehehehe! (removed)

I have two things to say--first, screw the Subie's--it's BEAUTIFUL up there! And second--awesome Typhoon! I didn't even notice that until Pablo mentioned it. My boyfriend has a Syclone and we LOVE that little truck!!

(removed) TMIC and FMIC for you subaru wannabie folks who just put scoops on things to look "cool" stands for Top Mount Intercooler and Front Mount Intercooler. Anyway there was a total of three Legacys there over the course of the day. Two went for the cruise.That dark grey STi is the colour I want to get. But I'd go with gold rims.

hey man, hood scoops were around back when subarus were like a bad joke! damn, i bet you guys burn up some serious camera batteries!

yep, Chris's WRX is the hottness. and CP, that pic is way too funny! thank you yep, there were 2 LGT wagons, both black that showed up, one with dark tint and the other no tint. only the stock looking wagon went on the cruise though. he had his whole family with him so didn't do the tunnel runs at 80 mph like the rest of us. LOL. however, in a few weeks, he's doing a full STI turbo/manifold/TMIC swap on his LGT. after he's done with it, it'll be about 300 whp grocery getter. no one will even know what's under the hood! LOL. our little hoodscoops help hide the fact that we're just as fast as the rexes and with a little modification, as fast as the STI's. some of the LGT's with just a larger TMIC and better performance parts than i, are running 12.9's on the stock little turbo. the ones with turbo upgrades like PDX Tuning and AVO turbo world, pulling 400 whp! not bad for a family sedan!i think my car would look wierd with a huge hoodscoop. unless i had a much larger TMIC, then there's no need. i prefer to stay incognito. got enough probs drawing attention from the cops as it is!

LOL. his license plates say "MO75" or upside down "SLOW"
