When i got to my car this morning i was met by a horrible sight..Apparently i had left a pepsi can in the car and during the night it exploded. There are coke bottle stains on the celing of the car and frozen pepsi on the seats.Any ideas how to get that sticking crap of my seats?I figure that the roof is probably permanently stained.. im going to try 'tough stuff' on it and see.. but im not too hopeful.

Try some oxyclean solution it has worked on some tuff stains. It alsom reomoved gel ink stains off my carpet (made it almost unnoticealbe) Coke should be a breeze for it to take out.

After some New Years eve "unpleasantness", I used my wetvac on my Vibe seats with a Tide/OxyClean solution and it got everything clean. That pop probably didn't have much of a chance to soak in, and since it went everywhere that fabric probably isn't too saturated...should be easy to clean...but will prolly take a while.

I sometimes use oxyclean in my laundry and have found that if you let it soak on some fabrics too long it begins to remove the dye from the fabric. For your cola problem, it would first clean the areas with a damp clean rag to get most of the cola off the surface and remove most of the stickiness. I would then use Blue Coral Dri-Clean (it is a light purplish-pink colored liquid that comes in a spray bottle). This stuff has done wonders on many cars that I have detailed. I am fortunate enough to have a small home carpet steam cleaner with an upolstry attachment that works great in cars. I run warm water into the machine and put the tube for the soap feed right into a bottle of Dri-Clean with the spray nozzle removed. One bottle will do the entire carpet of the car and all the seating surfaces, cloth on the door panels, on the rear decklid, etc., usually with a little left over. I spray soiled spots directly with the cleaner and scrub with a rag or small brush before I use the steam cleaning machine to treat spots and stains. This has been the best method for a thorough annual interior cleaning that I have found. I remove all the seats first because it is much easier to clean them and the carpet inside the car and they dry faster outside the car. You have to do this in good weather during the summer and leave a few windows open for a couple of hours so everything can dry out. But a wet rag and the Blue Coral Dri-Clean work very well year round to remove stains and spills such as what you ran into. In fact, I usually have a bottle of it and some paper towels in the car just in case something spills in the car while I'm out.
