From what I have heard of this mat.is basically you pay for what you get....apparently its not that thick and is somewhat cheap....this is what I was told. I can't really say first hand! You are better of with the real thing.....or better making it yourself!

I have the winter mats and they look nice, but try to push the clutch in to start and hope you ate your weaties, they are so thick that they don't allow the clutch to be pushed to the floor easily to start it

I ordered the official GM cargo mat and just put it in today. It definately does not slide around, and it matches the color scheme. If you order online, you'll save over buying from the dealer. The mat was $48.30 plus I think $6 in shipping. Also got the waterproof rear seat covers (to protect from the kids) for $79.10.

I got them to throw in my cargo mat for free when I picked up my Vibe. Mainly that was because they couldn't buy my Cavalier from me (they wanted to until they realized it had no AC). They offered a few free oil changes and I said I'd rather have the mat.

It was a 2000, and yes thats how we wanted it - no CD player, no AC. Car payments on it were extremely low.

Nothing wrong with going for the low payments - its why I went with a Vibe instead of a more pricey offering.

The Weathertech mats are awesome. My parents have had one in each of their last two minivans. The are molded perfect and are really high quality. The only reason I haven't got one yet is I have the carpet mat from GM and I have a carseat for my todler son in the car and I would not be able to anchor it if I had the mat in there.

Well, my son is just under 2 years old, so I don't think I will be "dumping" the car seat very soon. LOLI thought about cutting a hole in my carpeted mat, but I didn't want to ruin it. I can wait until my son is big enough before I get one of the Weathertech mats.

I'd go with the Vibe cargo carpet. I say that should be fine enough. That's what I did.
