How do you roll one of these?

I was back browsing the site where I bought my Vibe. Looks like they have two repairable's in stock, and I'm amazed at how some people must drive. http://southside-auto.com/06535.html. These vibes appear to have a pretty tough shell. Notice the passenger rear view mirror is stll there, with everything around it crushed.

Yeah seems weird but if there is a way, the general public will do it! That one looks like an AWD too, maybe it was on a bad road. Someone could have over-corrected and sent it end over end... Or lightly hit something at a good rate of speed and sent it just right in order to topple over.

I "THINK" the AWD only have wheel covers like in 2003...On second thought, I clicked on the above link just now and the listing does not say AWD, so I guess I am wrong on this one... On third thought, I logged onto the Pontiac site and for AWD wheel covers are standard, with aluminum rims as available. So looks like I am only 50% correct here...

THose are the stock steelies. Those are what I have, but I do not have an AWD. It could even be a sleeper GT with steelies on for snow tires for all I can tell from the pic (but I doubt it)Here is a thread about various bad Vibe accidents: http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=11448

I have wheel covers and I don't have an AWD... There is typically some badging on the back hatch, on the left side I believe, of the AWDs, but you can't really tell for sure if it's there or not on that one.

Yep I just thought all AWD had the steelies (at least the 03's) but knew a base Vibe could have them too.

well for AWD there should be some indication on the drivers side on the lift gate that says "all wheel drive"and i too have the caps with steelies but no AWD

To my knowledge, alloys have always been optional except on the GT.

There is no GT 17" steel rim. However GTs can come with the 16" rim because I had a friend with one who had those crappy conti tires on them and we changed them out. But I have not seen a GT with steels unless it was for winter. That car sure looks rolled but overall stayed its shape well.
