Looking good, Phil! Here's a little known Auto-X secret tip...if you honk your horn, the cones move out of your way.

Oh I've hit the horn before when autocrossing and the cones don't move. They don't move if you signal and turn on your wipers either lol. No the wife doesn't call me pumpkin.

its 1 second a cone for any standing cones you knock out of the box. Its then 5 seconds a cone for every cone after the timing lights in the shut down box. I've never hit any of those but at the last event someone cleaned out 3 of them... 15 seconds were added to his time. Ouch.

Sounds interesting but still fun! I have always wanted to try autocross and was gong to in my modded Z24 but had to get rid of it for a company car when I got my new job... The above pic is not my car though. It is a pic of a pic I took in Florida at Disney in a suite above the GM Test Track Ride. Looking closely the driver has glasses and a mustache, so not me! It is my car but not my car, I just thought is looked cool and a reminded of what not to do in my car!

I just may have to this summer! The car handles like it is on rails to begin with but being RWD the rear will break loose easily as I am sure you have seen. My friend has a helmet to use too...I just put my new larger MAF on the car last night and I NEED to order those sway bars already! I still cannot believe the price for them shipped but it is true, I keep staring at it!

hey mavrik, the whole cone crushin thing has nothin to do with your driving. here's an extremely rare fact: the color orange has a natural attraction to anything else of the same color, regardless of what shade it is: the car and cones are just naturally attracted to each other. yeahhh that's the ticket i was gonna enter my vibe in a autoX race out here on mother's day weekend, but it was too damn hot and the new blacktop was just falling apart with each race, so i'll just wait til i can do it somewhere with a cooler temperature. and our lil cousin car, a celica gt, won with the best time. pretty impressing for being the only 1zz in an event full of vipers and vettes.

then don't complain about me posting pics of YOUR CAR in YOUR GARAGE. nothing stops you from taking the car and getting pics. if you've got your web hosting site, then use it. we're paying for it, so may as well.
