is there a way to change it to something easy to remember?

Just click on My Profile / Personal Profile to change your personal information (username, password, location, etc).Password » Must be between 4 and 12 characters in length, inclusive.

Click on 'My Profile' on the right top of the forums. Go to your Perosnal Profile and enter the new password.
