Funny, that is one of the things I noticed first on my Vibe is the bad blind spot on the left side. I just added a 2" round convex to my left mirror yesterday. Works great. On my work truck I installed a small wedge convex like the ones listed on your link. And I hate it. Just have not changed it out yet.You can buy these small 2" round ones really cheap. I payed .95 cents at the Mills Fleet Farm

I am finding that the convex mirror, if mounted in the bottom inner corner of the mirrors shows me more of my car than the road. So, I need to adjust /angle the convex mirror so it shows more of the road and less of the car. There are 3 kinds of mirrors out there:thin round convex, rectangular that IS angled convex round that is thicker but has a small adjustment to allow it to be swiveled out.My NEW preference is probably going to be the rectangular mirror that has a large angle built in to show more of the road than less of the car.Hope this is message is understandable.

Or you can adjust your mirrors to eliminate the blind spot.Drivers side mirror: -Put your head on or really close to the window and move your mirror until you see the side of your car.Passenger mirror: -Lean over until your just over the center console and adjust the mirror until you see the side of your car. (I angle mine down a little so I can see the curbs. 18's ya know!)It takes a little getting used to, but it really does work! Most people have all the mirrors angled so you see whats right behind you. This way you can see whats in your left lane, behind you, and right lane. And any cars that are in your blind spot right up to where your periferal (SP) vision takes over. I never liked those convex mirrors. They distort too much and can't see anything.

You should still be able to see them.Like I said, it takes a little bit to get used to and you may have to tweek them for you preferance. But it does really help. You are so right about the huge blind spots! Only a few months of having my Vibe I backed into a parking lot sign and dinged up my bumper.

I put a 2 inch round Adjustable on my driver side top right. It was 1.98 at Advanced Auto.
