Lookin' good. I think 18's might have looked a little nicer but prob would have lost some of the performance aspect, so I'm sure 17's was the best route.

actually, it was because i didnt' want to spend the $$$ for new tires too. lol. however, next year, we'll be upgrading both of our tires so they can handle our autocrossing and drag racing.

Looks good, whats with the advertisements, sponsored now or a company car?

it's the company i work for. i'm outside sales and have to compete with about 20 other people. i view it like a realator, work for a larger company, but you compete with everyone else to get sales. so, i put some great big graphics on the car to promote myself and so far, i've gotten about 4-5 sales per month if not more. as for sponsorships, i've talked my general manager in paying for my SCCA events and membership as well as for the graphics on my car. the company that does most all the graphics does it for cost so I have them on my car too...

Hope, those graphics look like they were meant to be on the car. They look really good, and those new rims look sick.

oh, I didn't think about any fade issues, but I'm sure it'll still look fine. The sun where you live isn't all that strong either, unlike here in Arizona where it would most definately be an issue.

Nice wheels!Jeez. You'd think the people on GenVibe love pictures or something... Now you can sell the stock wheels & pay that "no-zone" ticket!

no, we do have sun, 24 hrs of it in the summer... they don't call it the land of the midnight sun for nothing! lol. we have a direct sunlight so it's more potent. it was about midnight last night and it was still daylight last night when we went to see X3.

What do you mean by a "direct sunlight"? Does this mean that it actually is stronger than Arizona sun?

if you look on a globe, you will see where AK is located according to the sun and earth's rotation. that is also why we have so much day light in the summer and darkness in the winter.

i have 20% all around. wish it were darker though, cause it feels like i don't have anything right now when the sunlight hits! my eyes are killing me! ARGH! iinan, are you talking about the outback wagons? lol. ya, those do look a bit eco friendly or old ladyish. but there are a lot of nice looking subies here and i'd imagine even more in your neck of the woods!

Just 2 days ago a tree hugging grannie in a white outback, cut across 3 lanes of traffic through the median to the off ramp of I-5. She blew gravel all over the front of my car, broke my windshield and chipped up the front of my hood..ohhhh I was so pissed <--much madder then this.

ya, i tell you, ebay is the way to go on rims. and not too bad for tire/rim packages. no way i could have touched those prices and even SHIPPED here for that! i called to order my rear sway bar today and they wanted me to pay $80 additional to ship UPS ground for a 16 lb package! (removed)?? especially when they say it's $215 SHIPPED. so i called another vendor to see if they can get the part because they were referred (and one of the HUGE vendors on all the subie sites and mags- pdxtuning) and include shipping, even to alaska!

its funny when the stoners come in from the forest with the Subaru and get it fixed. They are soooo laid back dude.... what ever.I had mixed feelings about the rims as far as yes they look good but will they look good on the LGT. After it was all done and I washed the car, I can say they looked GOOD.
