Another new Vibe GT owner!

Hey everyone- I pick up my 2003 Vibe GT on Friday- details of that particular car is here:
http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/...st=66The only thing I'm not too fond of is the front fascia- not really my thing. And with the snow we get in the winter, I can see that thing being a snowplow. I'm not sure how to go about replacing that though.Anyways- quick car history of me:First car- 1989 Honda CRX Si- I loved it, sold with 180,000 miles and still running strong.Second car- 1993 Honda Prelude Si 5speed- Never really got that attached to that car, but pretty fun to drive.Current car- 1999 Buick Regal GS- I did plenty of mods- smaller s/c pulley, headers, rockers, shift kit, intake, chip..etc..... I bought it with 28k miles, now has 108,000 and still running strong, but with my current 2 large dogs, I need a wagon/hatch! After lots of shopping around, VW Golf's, Honda Civic Si hatches,.... I came across the Matrix/Vibe's and test drove a few, perfect for my needs!I'm definately an all around car-nut, I have no import/domestic fanboy preference which sometimes I feel alone in feeling that way. I'm glad there's an online community for the new car- that's a good thing. Hope I can make a good contribution on here!

That's exactly what I was hoping for actually . Thank you for the welcome everyone! Ballrub- I live in a ..not too good neighborhood, so no rims for me! Only mods I plan on are a cold air intake, and maybe some handling mods....and possibly some nitrous.

Welcome to GenVibe! That is a little freaky...seeing the Psychovibe front fascia on a 2003, but doesn't look too bad. Looks pretty clean and sounds like a pretty good deal, esp. w/Nav system.

grats on the new Vibe. I hope the old owner just swapped wheels when selling and didn't drive around with a bodykit and stock wheels. You should keep it how it is and put some wheels on there and keep your car unique, it won't be that bad in the snow.

Yeah but the intake was very dirty- that got replaced today and the strut tower brace is loose, so that will be getting fixed as well. I'm loving this car though!
