Just got my Vibe a couple of week ago. I love it but I miss my tape-deck that was in my Altima because I ue the adapter to listen to my ipod. FM Mods suck. Anybody ever install one of these? I'm hesitant to do the regular Ipod interface because I want to use the Aux for other purposes. My wife will want to use her shuffle in the car as well and this would be the only way. This seems like a good option for me but I don't see anything on these forums about anybody using this product. Is the install pretty easy? Looks like it would be. Do I need any extra wiring harness. I have an 05 base with a single CD player. Let me know if you know anything.

WELCOME!! fellow MN'erwell theres tons of threads on this so I just grabbed one quick. search for aux and you should fine a hole page, theres a couple adapters that will give a aux input that will allow any mini audio device to be plugged in. heres a link i foundhttp://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=16903

Thanks for the reply. I did search but I was looking for specifics to this product but found nothing. Like/dislikes and such. I ordered it and it should be here today so I'll post the outcome. Corey

I installed this product on Saturday and it works great. I solderd the power lead to the cig lighter lead. If you pull the plug from the cig lighter there are little doors on the plastic cover over the plug leads that you can open. Slide the lead wire up the wire side of the plug and there is just enough room to get an iron in there. The rest is plug and play easy. Just plug it in to the 12 pin aux. I just have the single CD with no XM or Nav but this is supposed to work with all of the options as well. There is another 12 pin that is part of the harness that you can use to plug these items into. Now that ipod shows up as a CD changer. Awesome. The sound is soooo much better than the crappy Itrip.

I believe you need a radio with the 'BAND' button, 2004 or newer.Quote, originally posted by katepwa »Hey i am trying to install that auxgmv3 input but it wont work.I am trying to get it to connect via my cd/aux button but no luckany help you can give woul dbe greatthanks
