Wife and I were out looking for a replacement for one of our cars and have come to the following crossroad.Do we order a G6 GTP convertible and wait until they can get one with the specs that we want. Do we take the solstice that is sitting on the lot that we can live with ORdo we wait until the "breathing assisted" solstice comes out later this year. (we can order in mid to late june)Thoughts on any of these options would be appreciated.

better to hold out and get exactly what you want. otherwise, you'll just be at another crossroads in a few years... if it's not that long of a wait, just get what you really want. if you're like me, you won't be happy to just "settle." imo of course. no diff from us waiting to buy Mav's STI. that's what he wants and always has. so when the time is right, he'll order the one that he wants, specs, color, everything from the factory. we'd rather wait and get exactly what he wants than just settle. if you spend the money, get what you'll be happy with more than anything.

Order the Soltice in June. It will be wicked.

Suggest you wait for the big Solstice. I'm thinking of getting one, too. Maybe get the big Saturn Sky, which is basically the same car but looks a bit more agressive. The Solstice looks a bit more retro, while the Sky looks like a small Viper. I've seen both and both are great looking cars.

i agree it does look like a mini viper whanbee.

if the dealer well sell you the soltsice GXP at MSRP or better, thats my vote.

wait.. its allways better to get what you want, and not settle with something else
