Just boutght an 05 Vibe, I noticed that there is a red flashing light just under the radio readout. The light flashes whether the door is open or closed, so, I assumed its not an alarm.Anyone have any ideas?I did not see any mention of it in the manual. Thanks

With the ever-increasing cost of Radio-Tape-CD players, it is no surprise that the theft of these systems has also increased. General Motors has responded to this problem by installing anti-theft systems into many of their entertainment centers. Delco Lock was first introduced in 1986 by Pontiac and used until 1989. This basic system works in conjunction with radio controls located on the steering wheel. If memory power is removed from the radio, "LOC" will appear on the digital display when power is restored. I got a NEW CAR compliments of pontiac because of this little light. 9 replacement radios and they could not get the light to work SO they replaced my 2003 with a 2005 model. see the light does do somthing!!!!

Vibe radios do not have any sort of LOCK function. You can remove and restore power without affecting the radio. (Except the clock will reset )

Only 9 radios? What happened to the lemon law of replacing something 3 times, then the replace the car?
