you'll probably lose a little power. i don't know for sure, but my cousin was explaining that to me when i was looking to do the same on my vibe gt while ago. i'm sure one of the more "in tune" experts will advice more.

Magnaflow makes a muffler that's single inlet and dual outlet (one on each end), made for camaros and firebirds with dual exhaust. The muffler mounts sideways just like the Vibe. You could use the stock pipe on the driver's side and get one made for the passenger side. I was going to do it on my '04. I think you would gain a few ponies with less backpressure, just like a Magnaflow cat-back system.

The bottom 2 which are 2.25" are the outlets, they messed up their picture. You can get them much cheaper from any place that sells Magnaflow. The manufacturers always put a high price on their site so as to not undercut any of their dealers prices and to save themselves the trouble of shipping stuff out in small quantities. I would go with the second one, it looks simpler and would be easy to hook up.

No loss of power if you go two... The exhaust gases will have two paths to exist verses only one. However doing just an muffler you will probably not see even a gain, just a nice sound tone. 1 or 2, you should be happy with either.

Dynomax makes an Ultraflo single in, dual out muffler also. I used one years back to make an exhaust for a Cavalier... with the added space under the back of the Vibe it would be even easier to do then it was on the Cavalier.See attached image.

Hey well m REALLY thinking about going that on the vibe since i found the 3rd link (Sunny) for $91 at Summit Racing.. so i might just do that...BUT - - - - - would it sound good on a vibe? Camaros are V8's.....Vibe is a 4i still want good sound ( deep prefebly )---How much do you think i'll end up spending on my setup ... without including muffler...i also want 2 4" rolled tips. ~ $20 each

depending on what you want plus labor your looking at close to 300 bucks bro. its only $380.. which is a lot but a lil more then what you would spend on a set upThats how i was... then i just sucked it up and got a magnaflow. it sounds soo good and i feel more pep in the ol 4 banger. Its pretty easy to install too... just dont cut at the wrong part like i did. (long day & bad direction reading!)

The torque loss would be pretty minimal since its not a true dual exhaust. If you really want to keep that torque make sure you stay with the same tube size to the muffler, then drop the tube size a quarter-to half inch on the exit from the muffler. That will keep the torque on tap for you and give the dual exhaust look.
