I just got another 03' vibe and i want to take out the 6disk changer. Is there anything i need to be warned before doing so?The solid one pannel is all that i need to remove? Is there any tool i need to do this?

The only slightly unusual tool you'll need is a hex driver or socket wrench for the radio hex screws.Just pry out the silver trim from the bottom with your fingers (right above the HVAC dials.) You'll then need to remove 4 connectors to the switches on the trim- make sure you press the tab on the connector while removing it. You can remove the cable too, but it'd probably be easier to pull some cable out of the dash (gently) and let the trim dangle from it.There's four hex screws on the radio brackets that hold it in, in roughly each of the 4 corners. Remove them, gently pull the radio out, remove the antenna cable and the connector(s) from the back.Install in reverse order!

The cable attaches to to A/C / recirculate switch assembly and goes down to the climate control assembly.

Do you still have the 6-CD? If you do, I'm interested in buying it.
