starting the flood!!! I like the look, but way too much blue... mix it up a lil. like blue with red dummy lights. And he has the gauges in stock... 999 in stock.so you could essentially sell yours on ebay and make a lil back.kudos for something new!just really pricey

you supposidly send yours into him, but since you dont wanna drive with out one, he will send one to use in the meantime (standard one) and then ship yours back and you ship the temp. one back.the matrix and vibe have the same exact clusters.

Why not just send him yours and he sends you one with the LEDs?

I didn't think of that. Still, though the whole "borrow a cluster" thing kinda messes with that. In fact, wouldn't it be illegal?

In fact, wouldn't it be illegal?Technically, I'd say yes! Any additional mileage on a vehicle that is not reported on the odometer *and* is not reported on the proper certificates/notification stickers on the doors/etc as required by your state is probably frowned upon. But I guess people can go with the old "only illegal if you get caught" school of thought. As long as it isn't thousands of extra miles, they won't be doing the future owners that much harm... But still.

I know I'd wreck my cluster if I attempted it, so yes, a cool service indeed.

The indicators are the various warning lights, i.e. turn signals, high beams, check engine, oil pressure, brake, etc...

if you can solder well, it should be a diy. these are those surfacemount led's though so soldering well with a steady hand is needed.

It's definitely something you want to get right if you do it yourself... I've seen some pretty crappy results on other cars when people do the DIY thing on cluster LED swaps.

it's very cool, we had a guy do the same type of deal for the sunfires/cavaliers, i personally like my gauge and it aint a big deal for me to change colors, would be way to much blue for me
