Yea,yesterday a civic hit my car while he was trying to avoid a parked car on the front of the road,so he try to double me on the right lane...,ok it was a little scratch vs the fender of the civic have gone and door damage to the civic.I was thinking if i report to my assurance or not.Then today a ********** holl was parked he immediately hit the gas and left without checking the road and bbbbbbbanngggggggg he hit me between the two doors on passenger side.I thing it's a considerable damage,i thing they must change the doors. The********honda damage his all front.Dam in which world we are leaving,there are lot's of crasy driver'sThe two case,it was 100% their fault i have cop report.Soon i will put picture.

Thanks guy's.I was really busy this last days,those thing arrive in bad time.I just hope,it will not be 3days/3 accident I try to get a humour but it's difficult.

Here the first accident,at the front corner.A some scratch,but the front have little displace around the headlight. The second accident,i thing the door's must be replaced. And the *********,********* honda who hit me in the second accident. I waiting the cost estimation.

bet you that the last Honda wont even try to get it fix.Your damage gonna cost more than that stupid Honda.Tell you what, you should buy it and wreck it total. Should help you get over it. LOL

Hi Polo, I went through the same thing a couple of years ago with my Ford Explorer. I got hit in the same spot. The other driver was ticketed and ruled at fault. His insurance (Progressive) argued the same nonsense, OEM parts not authorized. I told them that it didn't apply to me because I was not insured by them and the accident was the fault of their client. I also threatened legal action if they didn't pay for OEM parts. They ended up paying the extra for the right parts. Call your insurance or a lawyer to see what your rights are. Aftermarket body parts can lower your trade in value and in some cases, are not as safe as factory parts. (bumper mounts, door panels, etc.) Good Luck getting it fixed.

Paul, I have the "valeur a neuf" with GM also. Personnally, when I got my accident in july 2004, I brought it at my dealer. the gave me a car at their fees as long as it took for the repair to be done (more than a week, they didn't have a hood available), 'cause of that option. An insurrance guy when to see it, saw the damages, took the estimation of cost and time from my dealer and accepted it. all new pieces. again, my "valeur à neuf" isn't with my insurrance compagny, it's with GM. on an other hand? since when insurrance compagnies pay only for used parts? I never heard about that! that's crazy!

thats what they are doing with my engine. which is total bs but the engine im getting has bout 4k-7k miles on it and its from another vibe from Nebraska.Paul sorry to here that. man what is with it alot of vibes are droping like flies.??

Paul, that's BS! it'll take a week min just for them to prep and paint, not to mention fixxing the damaged parts! when i had the LGT fixed, it took almost 3 weeks for it all to be done. of course i had $4500 in damage. but still.

but he's not in the US, so it may be different. I remember that law suit as my mom was working for one of the largest State Farm agents in the state at the time. very bad for business. and as much as i gripe about my insurance going sky high after my accident in Jan, USAA got me all new (i know because they ordered thru Conti where Phil works) and they even paid for my aftermarket grill to replace my homemade custom one. they got me the check within 4 days and i had up to 1 month on the rental if necessary. and even though it did go up, from what others were quoting me before the accident, i'm paying just about what they would have charged prior to January's incident. so i suppose i can't complain too much (first at fault accident).

I think that Allstate will pay for the used parts, because you don't have the valeur à neuf with them, and your insurance from GM, will pay the difference for the valeur à neuf.
