Hello, finally took my courage and trusted my mechanic skill (woooo) and i installed the short ram from Cosmo in my vibe. Went pretty good (thank K&N for your Typhoon instruction! cuz Cosmo one are a bit short for a 0-skill like me! ). Anyway, no cel, good sound and a little performance gain so pretty happy for a 100$ upgrade Had a question, for what K&N instruction call the Vacuum switching valve (point 19 of there instruction). Has you can see the valve are now simply open without anything to protect them. I was wondering if i should put a little rubber cap on each of them or not..? Anyone did something about that or simply go by the: if it's not broken dont fix it!

Yeah must admit I do like the looks... For the "rencontre"... i'll consider it But i guess i'll have to do more than a short ram mod to impress veteran like you guys .. eheheh.

The Typhoon has a nipple on the tube of the SR which you connect an included silicone hose from the VSV to the SR. Cosmo doesn't have this? If not I don't know what to tell ya.

Cosmo had one rubber nipple to block one of the hose on the engine but didnt include 2 other for the VSV... I dont know if they need to "breath" or not. Because those little nipple should be too hard to find.Anyway for the rest everything is running fine... so i guess for now it's not a big issue... Just tought that I didnt asked cosmo about that.. maybe they have a logic explanation... If i do get an anwser i will post it back.
