Took my car in for an oil change on friday and since I was there I complained to the about the noisy dash and after they drove the car they came to the conclusion that it was the dash bezel. So now they are going to order me up another one (hopefully the part has been redesigned otherwise the problem will just continue).

Which bezel is rattling?It is unlikely that the new bezel will have been redeisigned this soon after a model launch. Unless your old bezel is defective in some way, the new one will be the same. Give the new one a try. If it doesn't help, there have been many threads on this board in the past explaining how to fix this annoying little problem.

The dealer should get the part by the middle of this week but I will only take it in on friday. Will let you know how it works out(keeping my fingers crossed).

The bezel has a tab on the back of it and the tab has a piece that should be bent/broke off. It was supposed to come off at the factory. This very same thing happened to me and it took the service dept 5 times to figure it out. The tab is what causes the squeaking noise.

Mine ordered dash cluster insulation. Wonder if that will fix the problem? I should start charging them rent on how often they have my car.

I had this problem when my car was new. It is the insulation or lack of it, behind the bezel. GM has an insulation kit - it is just foam rubber. They pop the bezel off, put the new insulation in, and the problem goes away. There was a service bulletin about this. Good luck. By the way, I have 2 new Vibes and the second one did not have any rattles.
