If someone already had the short ram intake, would there be any benefit to putting something in the fender (metal dryer duct or pvc piping) to direct more air at the short ram intake?

yes, someone did do a pipe from next to the fog light going up. Its going to bring fresh cold air to the filter. SR filters usually are sucking in hot engine compartment air, so if you pipe a tube from the fender it would bring colder air to it.

3 words.... TRIAL and ERROR.see if you can feel the difference or at least know you are one of the few vibers on here who can run piping to the SR.

I left the stock air tube installed when I put my SR in. It feeds cool air right into the filter. It has always been like this so I can't say if it works or not. I do know the car runns much better with the SR installed.

You mean like this?I used my Ebay CAI and chopped it to fit hte Weapon-R Intake.I know it doesn't do much now but once I get around to making a heat shield to block it off fron the rest of the engine bay, there will be a noticeable difference especially in Summer.Note: These pics were take a couple months ago.

exactly like that! does the pipe go all the way to the fog light or just out into the fender? what are your plans for getting the heat shield to stay in place?
