Friday, I've just changed my 2 front speaker to new Boston Acoustics S65. These are 2 way speakers and boy is there a world af differnce between them and the OEM ones.I now have all of of the Highs I need without losing my Bass. The only thing is that it's a bit of work to put them in but the sound is worth the work.if you're thinking to do the change, go for it, it worth every penny.

It took me about 2 hours, but for the next one it will be a lot quiker. I now have a template and will probably do a fiberglass frame. No problem for the help and let me know if you need frames to hold them and if you're changing all 4 or only 2.thanks

Congrats on your install.I havent installed speakers in the door in the past.Dont the speakers come with a template?Did you have to fabricate a spacer ?Did you have to force anything or cut out any parts of the door?Do the tweeters point upward for better distribution of highs? Thanks
No they don't come with a template, at least not these, and yes I had to do a spacer for these, 1/2" thick is just right. and no the tweeter doesn't point up toward you.thanks
