GenVibe.com on the car...

I was just going to get GenVibe.com put on the small windows in the back, and I wanted to know if the boss of GenVibe.com would mind? I think it is a way to get more people to the site, and build from there. Well...talk to me...

I was thinking of the same ---to get the ball rolling, then when stickers are formally made then I would change. James

Hell no I don't mind! That's great. Please make sure it is tasteful and doesn't send the wrong signal out though. Mike (admin) is working on serveral things and one of them is site stickers of some kind.

How about a front window visor decal with GenVibe.com, or a license plate bracket?

I tried for 2 hours to come up with an idea but my computer was having a malfunction so I will have to play with it later. But I do think that a small sticker placed on both of the left & right rear side windows would enable us to see a member from any angle.Heck even if its just some kind of a symbol or maybe just the lettters GV. Well I will try again later this weekend. James

Ryan at GrafxWerks created a Genvibe white vinyl sticker for me and sent me one. I have not put it on yet due to the weather, but the sticker is about 10" long by 3" high and the font is identical to the font in the upper left corner of the screen. He sent me both an outline version and a filled in version. The stickers are in white but he mentioned to me that he could do them in any color. If anyone has any questions, feel free to IM me or contact Ryan at
grafx@grafxwerks.com.I will upload a pic tommorow and post it for all of you to see.

What did GrafxWerks charge you for them? Are they reflective or just white? I like the outline. It would look good against the tint on my rear corner windows.

I sent GrafxWerks the font that I wanted and he sent those to me for looking all of that up and telling him what size I was looking for. I am emailing him right now to ask the price for members. It is not reflective but I believe he said he could do reflective for a small amount more. The ones I have are plain white. I still plan on using one of them, I am just waiting for the warmer weather to put them on. I will be posting pics when I do have my stickers on.

I'm also working with GrafxWerks for some custom decals for my Vibe (not GenVibe stuff, Pontiac stuff). When they are done I'll show off a little. More to come. BTW, Ryan from GrafxWerks is great to work with.

I haven't worked on a sticker but I'd like a sticker or cling type grafic that has the Vibe on one side and a Matrix on the other. In the middle is would say
http://www.genvibe.com and right under that it could say Pontiac Vibe/ Toyora Matrix website. That ways everyone would know what the website is about before even typing in the address.

I would be more than happy to check into pricing out something like this also. Could you provide a picture of what you are looking for? I will check around if I can get an idea of what exactly you are wanting.

I think we need to come up with a few different designs and let the members vote on them. Then get grafxwerks to make them for us. If we want to easily identify other members it would be easier if we all had the same stickers.

The admins on the site would like the following:Quot from AdminIIquote:I haven't worked on a sticker but I'd like a sticker or cling type grafic that has the Vibe on one side and a Matrix on the other. In the middle is would say
http://www.genvibe.com and right under that it could say Pontiac Vibe/ Toyora Matrix website. That ways everyone would know what the website is about before even typing in the address.I think something like the forum picture with a Matrix on the left side and have it say GenVibe.com in the middle is what they are looking for. I think it will look good as long as the cars are a lighter color (frosty or satellite) so they would stand out against tinted windows. Who wants to try and P-Shop it?

I revieced my stickers yesterday from GrafxWerks, they are exactly like the pics I posted earlier only they are in metallic silver. They look very cool. I have two of them and they are going on the bottom of the rear side windows. Now I am wondering when I tint my windows, should I go with black tint or the semi reflective tint. Most of the stickers that I have to apply on my car are silver and I don't know if the semi reflective tint would contrast enough with the silver stickers. Anyone have any input?I have to agree that Matrix on a Vibe might look a little strange. But to each his own.

How close to Satellite are the reflective silver stickers from GrafxWerks? I was thinking about getting them for mine. I think they would look good against the dark tint and would be even better if they were the same color as the car.

I think they are really close to the Satellite silver on the Vibe, maybe a touch darker. I think they would go good with it.I agree with you that the sticker would probably look better against a dark tint, which is kind of why I am thinking about changing my mind and going with that. But getting a dark blue sticker on a black window wouldn't look that great unless the sticker was reflective, which GrafxWerks makes. All of my sticers are silver though. I have an Oakley sticker, a "Vibe GT" windshield banner and now these Genvibe stickers. My Vibe badge overlays are dark blue reflective and the Pontiac arrows are bright red reflective. When I have all the stickers on and my windows tinted, it will look awesome!

Triton...Thanks for the info. Did you get the solid or outline stickers? I think I like the outline one better. Tonight I'll probably order 2 of them, and maybe the overlay for the Pontiac symbol in front, the Pontiac accross the hatch, and the thrid brake light overlay.

I ordered the solid. I wanted it to be a little more bold than the outline myself. But the outline design is cool. I also have that Vibe GT third brake light. I haven't put any of them on due to weather. I am waiting until it is at least 50 to 60 degrees F outside until I do. Like I said, I have the Pontiac arrow overlay in bright red reflective and the Vibe GT badge overlays in reflective dark blue. Oh yeah, and the Pontiac inlay for the lift gate above the license plate. It will look very cool when I have them on. I will post pics on my CarDomain.com web page when I take pics of it.

That will look good. I'm not going to get the badge overlays because I took my badges off. I'll get the lift gate and front arrow though. Can't take them off so might as well make them look nicer.

I think we need to come up with something a little cleaner than the comic barney rubble look typeface that we have now. Moderators, if you would like, I'll volunteer to make a new typeface/identity that you can use on the site as well as for stickers. Just e-mail and let me know.

I like the quote:comic barney rubble look typeface that we have nowI just ordered the GenVibe sticker form Grafxwerks. I got the outline version in metallic silver. I also ordered the bright red inlay for the hatch. If someone comes up with a different sticker later on I can always change them. They were only $8 so it's not a big loss.

quote:I like the comic barney rubble look typeface that we have nowI think the font is unique and will look pretty good. It will stand out and hopefully make others interested in visiting this site. PBFlash is right about changing them if something comes along that is better and the Administrators make our "standard" sticker. We will have to see.
